WI Department of Public Instruction-CTE Team

The Department of Public Instruction is the state agency that advances public education and libraries in Wisconsin. Our goal is to ensure every child graduates ready for further education and the workplace. Educators Rising is a career and technical student organization for high school students who are interested in a career in education. Careers in education are diverse and professionals are involved in the planning, managing and providing of education and training services, and related learning support services. Careers in education and training occur in a variety of settings (e.g., public & private schools, colleges, universities, training centers, businesses) and support multiple types of student learners (e.g., prekindergarten, elementary, secondary, adults, students with disabilities, English Language Learners) on advising, academics, career technical instruction, and other training services.
